Amazing spot! I came here with a friend for the first time Friday night. The staff was so friendly. The bartender made me a special drink off the menu that was delicious. Another staff member rushed to get me a new napkin when he saw that mine had fallen. They also took pictures of my friend and I and gave us great recs for dance places to go to afterward. The cocktails were so great and the presentation was amazing. I loved the music there and the whole vibe of the place was great. We had a couple appetizers which were good but nothing to write home about. Everything else made it an exceptional experience and I will definitely be retuning
I came here to celebrate my daughter’s 24th birthday, and it was such a memorable night! I had arranged a special surprise — her brother came all the way from Davis to surprise her — and the staff were amazing. They kept everything a secret and helped make the moment extra special. We had a reserved table for four, and the service was fantastic. Our server made great recommendations, and everything we ordered was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect — great R&B music, a live DJ, and even an artist performing some of my favorite songs. The décor, seating, and overall vibe were beautiful, and my daughter was so happy to celebrate her birthday here. It truly made the night unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!
Sobre Mesa’s Queer and Couture Oakland Pride event was absolutely stunning! The space was vibrant, welcoming, and full of beautiful energy. The fashion was bold, creative, and inspiring—every look celebrated self-expression and community. The cocktails and food were delicious, and the staff made the night feel seamless and inclusive. This event was the perfect blend of glamour, culture, and Pride—an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait for the next one!
Cute, buzzy date night spot: - Gorgeous, fun food with plenty of vegan options (get the yuca frites and plantains!). Not the best food I've ever had, but solid. - Great atmosphere - lots of low lighting, so well set up for intimate dates. - Amazing service. Jessica was outstanding: when we started asking if something was vegan, she checked with the kitchen and then told us the full selection so we wouldn't have to keep asking. Really helped the night go smoothly! Would definitely come back again & recommend others to come!
The cocktails here were as amazing as I expected them to be, but the food was the true star in my eyes. Each dish was perfectly executed, had very punchy flavors, and was just plain delicious. I would absolutely go back to this place.
very romantic and atmospheric: perfect for a nice date for a keto loving couple… great service… went here on a first date and we shared a lovely meal I did not pay, but I think it was approximately $70 per person, including alcohol
Spent my 3 year anniversary here and had an amazing time. The food is so vibrant and the flavor profile are sweet and tangy. The perfect blend of citrus and tangy. My partner and I got these coool shots from the waitress because she heard us mention we were celebrating our anniversary. Will definitely be back.
The food here is amazing!!! You've got to try the beef empanadas and the bone marrow😛 i had one of the best crafted mezcal drinks and a second because it was so good. Highly recommend this place for your pre show munchums if your going to the fox theater for some entertainment. This place serves it up right!!!
Great experience.. The drinks were great esp the Sobre Mesa. The tapas were good. We liked the warmed brioche, empanadas, goat cheese,adobo chicken pinchos. The service is great and the ambience and the decor is unique and we really enjoyed our evening here..
